Wollaton (NG8)'s leafy streets are lined with large family homes, many from the 1920s and 30s, plus some newer estates closer to Wollaton Park. The plumbing here tends to be aging, we'll see a lot of corroded pipes, slow drains, and boilers that've been running since the 90s.
The bigger detached houses around Wollaton Vale and Middleton Boulevard often have extensive heating systems that need regular servicing. Old cast iron radiators, outdated thermostats, and boilers tucked in loft spaces are common. Drains here suffer from tree root ingress, those big gardens with mature trees look lovely, but the roots play havoc with clay drainage pipes. We've also replaced quite a few lead supply pipes during kitchen and bathroom upgrades.
Wollaton's not far from our base, so we can usually get someone out within a few hours for emergencies. If you're planning a bigger job like a bathroom refit or full central heating upgrade, we'll come and survey it properly first. We deploy either our own employed plumbers or approved subcontractors across NG8, all working to the same high standards.
